Dr Pek Ru Loh
Dr Pek Ru Loh is a team investigator on the Building Mental Wealth Capacity Grant and is based in the School of Psychology and Speech Pathology at Curtin University of Technology. She has a background in Nursing and Psychology. Prior to pursuing a career in psychology, she was an oncology-trained nurse in Singapore. She had also worked as a psychologist in the department of Early Psychosis Intervention Program, Institute of Mental Health, Singapore, and the Multisystemic Team, Perth, Health Department of Western Australia. Pek Ru completed her PhD (Psychology) in 2007. Her research interest is in cognitive and developmental psychology, and mental health. At current, her main research focus is in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
