Professor Dianne Wynaden

As/Professor Dianne Wynaden

Dianne is a Professor (Mental Health) at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Curtin University of Technology and Curtin Health Innovation Research Institute. She is a registered nurse and a credentialed mental health nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses. Dianne has a Master of Science (Health Sciences) and a PhD from Curtin University of Technology. She is on the Editorial Board of four peer reviewed journals, an international grant reviewer and is also a member of Curtin University Human Research Ethics Committee.

Dianne has over twelve years experience in completing health services research and works one day per week Fremantle Mental Health Services and one day per week with the State Forensic Mental Health Services as a research consultant. She is also an Adjunct Senior Research Consultant with Fremantle Hospital. She has given keynote addresses and presentations at national and international conferences. She is a member of the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses Research Committee. Dianne has been on several expert reference groups established in the area of mental health at both state and national level and has been recognised by the Western Australian Chief Nursing Officer in 2005 for her leadership to the profession of nursing. She has published extensively in the scientific literature. Dianne chairs the WA Mental Health Nursing Leadership Group.
